Seeking Full Time or Part Time Therapist/Clinician
(AMFT, LMFT, ACSW, LCSW, or Psychologist)
Specializing in psychotherapy for diverse individuals and/or couples
We are a depth-oriented counseling center serving a clientele of diverse individuals and couples. We are seeking full time and part time therapists to join DOT Center, serving residents of CA. The clinician should be an associate or licensed MFT, Clinical Social Worker, or Psychologist from an accredited psychology program and have formal training and consultation in both individual & couples therapy as well as a leaning towards dynamic, depth-oriented psychotherapy. Expertise in trauma therapy is also highly desired.
The position is for at least 12+ hours per week and must work a minimum of two days per week
Clinician(s) will receive training in utilizing an online EHR system (simplified way of safely documenting your clients’ private information and clinical notes). Clinician(s) will receive administrative & marketing support, be in community with other like-minded clinicians through DOT’s staff meetings, and work from their own assigned office at the center. Times and days are negotiable. Ability to work evenings and/or weekends is also highly desired.
Compensation with hands-on Support
$75-$95 per client hour depending on experience, client populations, and time/client hours invested at DOT. Annual review opportunities available for increased compensation.
Individual supervision opportunity for associates with Liz Tong, LMFT or Sophie Jani, LMFT.
Focused group supervision for all DOT therapists with Therese Noelle Allen, LMFT.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Be legally registered (AMFT/ACSW) or licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for DOT Center.
Engage in either on-site or virtual psychotherapy services to DOT Center clients, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.
Required regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work.
Respond to patients’ requests for service or calls within 24 hours whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, or by email. Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such patients.
Communicate with a patient’s treatment team as necessary.
Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of DOT Center.
Timely complete written records for each patient including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by DOT Center or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient at least 48 hours after session. Maintain accurate and up-to-date calendars and client information using practice management software.
Charge and collect payments from patients for services provided consistent with the policy and rate for such services as established by DOT Center.
Attend monthly staff meetings and trainings as directed by DOT Center.
Prioritize being respectful, kind, and collaborative with co-workers.
Clinical and growth opportunities available, including starting a group, teaching a class, giving presentations, hosting a workshop, or developing a specialty therapy service.
Additional preferred qualifications
Passion for and experience working with POC, LGBTQIA+, and/or interracial/multicultural couples.
Licensed at least 2 years with prior experience in a private practice setting.
Trainings in couples therapy and skilled in experiential couples therapy (eg, emotionally focused, PACT, AEDP, somatic, etc)
Trauma informed - EMDR, Somatic Practices, etc.
Is committed to personal and professional growth and engaged in consistent clinical consultation/trainings and personal therapy.
